Begin again as a newborn babe
Your mind pliable and probing
Waiting as lion in the woods

Let us conceive of education as awakening from sloth, removing the mask, and seeing with clear eyes. To find out what is good in ourselves, to heal our own psychological damage, to grasp our higher nature. The one who knows is not who remembers more, but who probes and cares more.
1. Find something real in what you see.
2. Ask what lies at the root.
3. Say something good about those you disagree with.

Understanding is transformative, world-changing. But that is the easy part. It is not complete until we take action. We have not understood a topic until we have resolved it in practice. Understanding and action are one and the same.

Action is the final and necessary step in Quest. What kind of action? It doesn’t matter much, as long as it is offered publicly and in a way that breaks through pleasantries, addresses the root issue, and creates a climate of affection and reflection.

Unsure of what kind of action to take? The main thing is to bring to topic to the public. To reach the public with the Visionary Society Journey (Mystery, Explore, Reflect, Challenge and Action).

A Visionary Society Holiday is a primary quest, defining one of the main areas of our life. It is meant to counterbalance the standard relationship holidays.
