We have more power than we realize, if we build up in ourselves, during the course of our life, the courage of heart and soul. Of refusing to close our heart. Of defending ourself against despondency and bitterness. Of the tenderness and fearlessness that is needed to approach our foes. This is voting as it was meant to be.
It doesn’t matter which side is right. It doesn’t even matter if we find a solution. Instead, our goal must be to look courageously, with humility and goodwill. That is already transformative action. Visionary voting means developing our latent and suppressed capacity for perceiving and acting at the deepest possible level.
