– Never humiliate anyone.

– Instead of demanding change, seek mutual agreement.
– Ask for empathy, contrition, reflection. Instead of holding your opponent accountable, ask them what they can do for an issue.
– Do not appeal to (or blame) leaders or authorities.
– Address underlying causes first, then external needs.
– Find a way that changes assumptions, that all sides can agree with, that works at the heart level.
