“I have deep concerns with the proposed path to citizenship. To allow those who came here illegally to be placed on such a path is both inconsistent with rule of law and profoundly unfair to the millions of legal immigrants who waited years, if not decades, to come to America legally.” Senator Ted Cruz

Millions of people are in need and deserve compassion

Everyone has a right to a secure livelihood and safe living conditions.
“People all over the world immigrate into our country. Americans don’t realize the pain and agony that these people go through just to make a living for a better life. Most immigrants come to the U.S. for job opportunities to help their families economically. American citizens believe that immigrants are here to corrupt us but i disagree because they help us with jobs that many Americans wouldn’t like to do. They go beyond expectancy, payed low wages, and are believed to be extremely hard workers. Isn’t that what America needs?”
NYT comment, Vivian R. August 30, 2010

Illegal immigrants take jobs that unemployed American citizens would hav

Besides taking jobs from American workers, illegal immigration creates huge economic burdens on our health care system, our education system, our criminal justice system, our environment, our infrastructure and our public safety.

Most immigrants just want to do the jobs few are willing to do

Xenophobia, the fear that has always been easy for demagogues to arouse because it's such a basic human instinct. But the immigrants now coming across the Mexican border do not want to sack our cities. They're not about to pillage our granaries or march home with Americans in chains. They just want to mow our lawns and clean our offices. They're coming to feed us, not take our food, yet we're demanding that our leaders keep them out. No Mexican busboys! No Guatemalan cooks! Stop them before they grill again!” New York Times, May, 2006

Dangerous criminals are involved in human trafficking

Terrorists can come across. They're devastating our ranchers down in southern Arizona - drop houses, kidnapping, automobile accidents, extortion, drugs, the spill-over with the drug cartels. We're facing all of it.

It is our responsibility to help since our nation sabotaged democracy an

For example, killing of children by gangs in Mexico is caused by the US drug war.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!
Emma Lazarus, The New Colossus, 1883

“Happy, thrice happy! shall they be pronounced hereafter, who have contributed any thing, who have performed the meanest office in erecting this stupendous FABRIC OF FREEDOM AND EMPIRE on the broad basis of independency; who have assisted in protecting the rights of human nature and establish an asylum for the poor and oppressed of all nations and religions." George Washington, Speech at the dedication of Capital University, Columbus, Ohio

“Shall we refuse the unhappy fugitives from distress that hospitality which the savages of the wilderness extended to our fathers arriving in this land? Shall oppressed humanity find no asylum on this globe? The constitution, indeed, has wisely provided that, for admission to certain offices of important trust, a residence shall be required sufficient to develop character and design. But might not the general character and capabilities of a citizen be safely communicated to every one manifesting a bona fide purpose of embarking his life and fortunes permanently with us?” Thomas Jefferson, First Annual Message, 182
In Draft of the Kentucky Resolutions Thomas Jefferson says that the Federal government has no power over aliens. “Alien friends are under the jurisdiction and protection of the laws of the State wherein they are…Powers over alien friends, not delegated by the Constitution, is not law, but is altogether void, and of no force.” 125

Text: Gang members and other dangerous criminals are involved in human traffic

Gang members and other dangerous criminals are involved in human traffic

I have refrained and really tried to only state this privately but I think the time has come. I know I will probably get backlash and I just really don't care anymore. Why? because nobody knows the crap that I deal with in human trafficking investigation.
My average day in human trafficking investigation would traumatize the average human.
1) I specialize in Texas human trafficking. I have been up against FBI/DHS/CPS on several cases. I KNOW southern border human trafficking/drugs/gun runs.
2) I worked with the Honduran Government. Externally, yes, but was involved in politics and government of that country and lived there and ran a company and a ministry for several years.
3) My husband was the chaplain for MS13 gang IN HONDURAS. Meaning, I spent much time in a third world prison with MS13 gang members that were segregated FROM THE REGULAR POPULATION. To which they were so dangerous they were self-policed and the guards could not even enter . . .yet they (the prisoners) allowed us to enter. Guards were posted in towers at all four corners. If I called the govt over prison and asked about the MS13 gang population I GUARANTEE it would be many fewer if not empty . . .because they were interspersed throughout the caravan. I know this because I studied tattoos and I see them even on the newscast!! You have no idea how dangerous these people are. You just don't understand. This isn't TV crime. We saw people murdered right in front of us, we saw more dead bodies than I care to tell you about. Honduras was rated the MOST dangerous country in the Western Hemisphere when I lived there. There is a reason for that.
We need the wall. Every one of us involved in trafficking investigation (that isn't government attached) knows this. It isn't about immigrant petty crime or a murder here or there. We are talking about MILLIONS of dollars in trafficking of our children to and from. ISIS (which was government created) funded MS13 gang. Honduras is partial middle east/Jewish/Spaniard/British…it is a very unique country with very unique ties. Just ONE case I worked on for the last four years traffics about 630 children a year, thru the border.
Maybe you don't believe in the border. But statistics prove fewer border issues where we have a wall. Numbers are PROVEN by looking at other countries that have walls and it is 90% less illegal border crossing.

WHAT IF…WHAT IF…one of those children was worth it? What if it stopped ONE child from being trafficked from CPS/DHS thru the Spanish pathway or into our country? would it be worth it if it was your child?
If you haven't worked in trafficking or the Honduran govt or with MS13 gang…you don't have the intel to have an opinion. Leave it to the people that do have the intel. I say this from someone that has about 2% of the intel and it SCARES ME.
I gave up my case in 2017 because I simply couldn't beat a government that was involved in trafficking. When I step outside of my home and find a red laser on my chest and I don't know if it is my govt or my target, I am done. When seven of our witness are murdered before trial…I am done.
But since Trump came in office it has stirred a hornets' nest and we have had more arrest than we have EVER SEEN and we have more leads stirred up than we have ever had in our history of investigation. You may not like his personality. Maybe you don't like the booming economy. Maybe you don't like his past sins. Maybe you can't stand his twitter account . . .. but we in trafficking take our hats off to him. Sometimes it takes a narcissistic profile to strategically disrupt (trafficking terms).
If he does NOTHING else…he is winning the human trafficking space. And that is enough for us.
We need the wall. This is a Texas thing and I wish we didn't have to rely on Feds to determine what we did with our borders but alas…it does. If it was determined by us Texans…a bunch of motorcycle clubs and hunting clubs would have already built the damn wall…anyway…we can afford it…we have more oil than you can shake a stick at.

OUR GOVERNMENT SELLS OUR CHILDREN. What are we not comprehending about this. We can't just increase border agents because as the Obama Admin minimized our military he also did it to our border (if you look at CBP numbers it averages the same only because our side decreased and the Mexican side increased, wonder why?)
Border Agents sue for workman comp and violence.
Walls can't be minimized, changed, redirected, bought, bribed, nor can they sue. Politicians do NOT want a wall or we would have had one when Schumer and Pelosi were screaming for one in 06 and begged for $25 billion. It took a NON-politician to figure this out and do something. If you read the Mexican Trade Deal it looks like Mexico is paying for the wall, maybe this is how he got around Congress
To those that want the wall but don't want to pay for it. That is like me saying I don't want your kids kidnapped but if I see it happen outside my window, don't involve me. But you will shop Amazon and buy Starbucks. Sounds legit.
