Reflect on 'Visionary society'

Reflect means grasping the totality of a situation, especially our own role in producing it
Ask if you learned the lesson an experience presents. Without review, integration, and resolution, we have wasted the opportunity it presents to us. Learn more.

What are you insensitive to?
Begin. Who are you? Silence, humility, questions.
What do you do with your life? How do you spend your time? How do you use your personal resources – money, passion, skills, etc.
Experiences, travel.
What do you do for spirituality?
What do you do for creativity in your life?
What do you do to help others?
What do you do for money?

Examples
Comfort, happiness, security, enjoyment.
The sterility of airports. What can you do to bring the opposite of sterility to your life? For example, thriving, flowering.
Animals. Debbie and her view on eating meat. Would this be within Relationship: Compassion?
Music. Think about the mall in Tel Aviv, with all the music. Practically any public space. Would this be within Quest: Sensitivity?
Ritual (such as marriage ceremonies), sports, etc.

Vision
Stake your life on the existence of a transcendent reality.
Forego everything that is illusory, artificial.
Build understanding, relationship, beauty, and spirituality in practice.
Action. Everyday life. All are responsible for all.
Vote with your life. (Integrity.) Create the world you envision
Engage in building a beautiful world.
Do not seek a reward for doing good. Do not depend on leaders.
 Vote by your life – what you actually do in the course of the day: the work you do, the places you visit, the bureaucracies you confront, and the people you meet. We have far more power than we use. Vote for the utmost. Vote for meaning. Include your position in the medical juggernaut, the industrial food system, the corporate educational system, the media, the military, and the criminal justice system.
Integrity: Unity of thought, feeling and action. Work, leisure, etc.
Prepare to return to the world, using all of your own resources (time, money, talents, skills, interests, etc.) to build your life, to live into being your vision for the kind of world you want to live in. Live spiritual reality into being in your practical life.
“Just by planting our feet firmly on the place that we stand that world will become. “I will not be a slave any longer, from this moment on,” as Gandhi said. And I will not be a slave-master from this moment on, exploiting those I do not know. I will not perpetuate conflict through small-mindedness. I will not perpetuate superficiality by small-mindedness.”
