What is Visionary Society?
Visionary Society connects ideals with actions – bringing together spirit and matter, mind, heart, and hands. Our programs help us understand the world (Vision) and take meaningful action (Society).
We believe in creating a more beautiful world. But to do so we must understand what our lives are really about and have the courage and affection to work together. That’s the two parts of Visionary Society: Vision is seeing deeply and Society is doing it together.

Begin by Creating a Project
A Project is anything you really believe in – a way to make your life or community not just better but more beautiful. It’s a way to define your dreams, take the first steps toward them, and connect with others around the world. There’s no telling what the result will be or how far we can go.
No matter how helpful a Project is, though, it doesn’t mean much by itself. What does it matter if we don’t understand what’s going on around us – if we don’t understand society or ourselves? That’s the purpose of Quest.
Every Visionary Society member is asked to choose one part of life to explore as a Quest. Quest means getting to the very root – by listening to great ideas, reflecting on our own lives, and taking a challenge. Of course, it won’t happen all at once, but this is a first step, and we can take one step every day. Members will receive materials to explore once a month.
You can also develop your Profile, a place to share what you care about, so that others can learn about you and join with you.

The Goal of Visionary Society
Visionary Society exists to challenge and support each other to live with commitment, understanding and affection. It’s a welcoming ecosystem for those seeking a deeper, more meaningful way of life.
Visionary Society Programs
► Personal Projects – Start improving your life and achieving your dreams.
► Community Projects – Take sustained action to address a social issue.
► Quest – Start thinking deeply about the meaning of our lives.
► Meetings – Learn together on subjects of importance.
► Reality Tours – Introduce travelers to the real life and underlying meaning of the places they visit.
We offer additional support in poor countries, including:
► Gatherings – A kind of celebration that introduces Visionary Society to the public.
