At Visionary Society, we focus on empowering individuals to launch their ideas. However, please note that our support is meant to help you take the first step – we provide initial guidance, tools, and resources to help you start. We also provide an initial financial stipend. From there, we work with you to identify additional support and partnerships to sustain and grow your project. Think of us as a catalyst for your journey.

A Project is a way to create something new in the world that addresses a social problem at the root level. It is a way to make your life or your community not just better but more beautiful. It is a way to define your dreams and take the first steps getting there, and to work with others to achieve it. There is no telling what the result will be or how far we can go.
Ask for support for anything (a organization you like, a project you are involved in, a friend, a class). Teach something. Create something new or build something. Offer something they have to the community. A class or a meeting. Anything that they would like to see happen in their world. A Project is simply a suggestion about what someone thinks will benefit the community, and that they care about, because it reaches the heart.
What is a Soulful Project?
A soulful Project is anything that involves understanding, affection and action. This means that we have evidence that someone involved cares, about the Project, the people being helped, the community, and the Supporters. While a Project will usually have an external component (for instance, helping with food, health or education), that can never be the most important goal.
– Projects are community based. Anyone can start a Project and anyone can participate.
– Projects don't depend on the use of power (policy, law, or adversarial relationships), government or big business.
– Projects is the establishment of relationship. Everyone gives what they can and already have, such as time, skills, passion and money.
– Select a Quest related to the underlying issue. You will receive monthly updates with insights and action opportunities in that area.
– Choose the options you need to create the experience you want. You may ask for support, schedule a meeting, raise funds, or anything else.
In Developing Countries
Visionary Society is not a funding organization but a community built on trust, learning and mutual support. The $100 stipend for Partner Projects is a small but meaningful start, helping you take the first step toward positive change.
Updates
An Update from the Partner is required within 3 months.
Purpose: To ensure accountability, monitor progress, and track the impact of each Partner's project.

– What was accomplished during this period?
– Challenges, successes, and general thoughts on the progress of the project.
– All funds must be accounted for.
– General thoughts about the progress of the project.
