Partner Projects (for Staff)
Back to Programs list

Help those in need take initial steps to improve their lives, through structured guidance and stipend assistance.

Please keep in mind that Visionary Society is not a funding organization but a community built on trust, learning, and mutual support. The $100 stipend for Partner Projects is a small but meaningful start, helping partners take the first step toward positive change.

Budget
Funds will be sent to the Director, who will distribute them to Partners. Documentation is required for every distribution to ensure transparency and accountability.
►  Stipends: $50 - $100 per Partner.
Training, Project creation and Updates: $20 per partner:
►  Training (Supervised by Guide): $5 per Partner (Multiple Partners may train together at a central location).
►  Project Creation (Facilitated by Guide): $10 per Partner.
►  Project Update: One required update, facilitated by the Guide. $5 per partners

Partner Selection Process
Partners are selected based on two key factors: Need (how much they require assistance) and Sensitivity (willingness to engage in self-awareness and transformation). The Quest tool (see link) helps identify those genuinely interested in personal growth and social impact.

Selection Steps
1. Introduction: Introduce Visionary Society and the Quest through a video (5 - 10 minutes).
2. Quest Tool
►  Select a Quest and one item in the Journey (Explore, Reflect, Challenge or Action), and then click Support.
►  Answer the question “Why do you want to join Visionary Society?” (Independently or with assistance.)
3. Training & Project Creation:
►  Meet at a central location for training.
►  Collaborate with a Guide to create a project.
4. Project Review & Approval
►  The Guide and Director assess the project’s feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with the Visionary Societ mission.
►  If approved, they authorize funds distribution.
5. Fund Distribution: The Guide distributes the necessary funds to launch the project.
6. Progress Update: The Partner and Guide meet after 1 - 3 months for a project update and review.

Training Process
Partners attend training at a designated location, where they have access to videos and documents for self-study. Guides provide support, answer questions, and help clarify project goals. Multiple Partners train together for efficiency, allowing the Guide to assist everyone at once, reducing costs.

Project Updates
A Partner must submit an update within three months to ensure accountability and track progress. Updates include:
►  How funds were used
►  Achievements during the period
►  Challenges and successes
►  Full financial accountability
►  General thoughts on progress

Role of Guides
Each Partner is assigned a Guide to help them define their goals, refine their project, and provide regular check-ins to ensure progress and support long-term success.
