Problem
I've been struggling with poor vegetable garden yields due to pests, diseases, and poor soil and water management. To improve this, I'm focusing on using organic pest control methods, enhancing soil fertility with compost, ensuring efficient watering, and educating myself through workshops and resources.
Goals
My project aims to create a sustainable vegetable garden at my home to promote healthy eating in the community and generate additional income. I will manage the project by overseeing all tasks, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and handling daily operations like planting and maintenance. My husband will volunteer by helping with planting, maintenance, and distributing the harvests.
Plan
The grant funds will be used for purchasing gardening tools, seeds, soil, compost, and materials for irrigation systems and fencing.

Timeline:
Month 1: Purchase all necessary gardening tools, seeds, soil, compost, and other materials.
Month 2: Prepare the garden site, set up irrigation systems, and plant seeds and seedlings.
Month 3-6: Maintain the garden, including watering, weeding, and pest control. Harvest and distribute the produce.
Needs & Funds
I will need gardening tools, seeds, soil, compost, and materials for setting up irrigation systems and fencing. Financial resources will be required for purchasing these supplies and any necessary equipment.
Vision
Yuditha's Green Garden will help me learn gardening skills like planting and pest control while practicing sustainable methods. I aim to grow high-quality vegetables and build a loyal customer base through local markets. I plan to manage costs wisely and look for ways to earn more, such as by selling value-added products. Long-term, I hope to expand the garden, try new crops, and build a strong brand through marketing and community connections.
Type: Food.
Period: Six months.

Updates
Just to inform what is going on and how the applicants are happy. That they can't believe the way they got the money without any hastle.
